This is entirely down to what you choose from us, whether its Childrens Box, Horror Box, Action Box, Romance Box, Comedy Box, Sci-Fi, Drama Box or Your Box - will depend what we send you. You will select your box and then answer a few questions about movies you liked and disliked and our team will match you with the best movies that match your profile. Each month, you rate the movies we sent you to send you better selections next month.
Yes you can, when you login, you can see the movies selected and you can choose to swap any of them. There is no limit to the amount of times you can swap.
We like to pick titles that our customers, team-members, and subscribers like that are also not currently streaming or in discount bins. We are doing our best to make the service work for you by providing quality and value. You can swap any titles you wish from your account. If you have ANY concerns, please contact us or use the feedback area on your account. We need your feedback to make a GREAT box and we want you to be happy with the choices we make.
Absolutely not, we will NEVER send you the same disc twice regardless how long you have been a member with us, we have a special inhouse system that allows us never to duplicate an order for our customers.
Most DVDs and Blurays sent to you are brand new, we remove the plastic packaging to quality check every disc sent out so we ensure you have a perfect and uninterrupted viewing experience when you get your order. In some cases where movies are no longer produced or for other reasons, we may used studio quality refurbished discs.
Based on what Box you have chosen, we will send your desired genre of movie, the amount of movies we send will depend on the package chosen, if you fancy having a mix of movies every month then choose the 'Your Box' package and we will source the best to match your profile and taste.
We quality check every disc before it gets to you as many discs fall out the case holder when in transit so we remove the plastic wrapper and check for scratches or damage before sending to you, however if you have any issues please contact us and we will issue another order for you.
The Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 state that UK businesses must now use a local rate number for customer service queries. From 13th June 2014, you can contact us on 01446 338338. Our 0843 number will remain in use until the end of August 2017. Calls to 01 numbers are usually included in landline and mobile packages. Please contact your telephone provider for more information. Calls to 0844 and 0843 numbers cost 7p per minute, plus your phone company’s access charge. Calls may be monitored or recorded for security and training purposes.
DVD Locker customer service team is available from 9am – 7pm, Monday-Saturday.
All our DVD discs will be sent Region 2 with UK BBFC Certificate Ratings. These discs will play in all Region-Free DVD Players and Region 2 DVD Players. Most DVD players in UK, Europe, Japan, South Africa and Middle East- Albania, Andorra, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Egypt, Finland, France, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Greenland, Hungary, Iceland, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Monaco, Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Vatican City, Yemen, Yugoslavia will be able to play region 2 discs.
All our Blu-ray discs will be sent Region B with UK BBFC Certificate Ratings. These discs will play in all Region-Free Blu-ray Players and Region B Blu-ray Players. Most Blu-ray players in UK, Europe, Japan, Africa, Southwest Asia, and Oceania will be able to play region 2 discs. It worth noting that Paramount Pictures and Universal Studios have released all of their titles region free. Sony Pictures and Warner Bros have released most of their titles region free. Lionsgate and Walt Disney Pictures have released a mix of titles that were region free and region coded. However some studios such as Fox have released ALL titles with region lock.
You keep all the movies we send you. You can build up your movie collection with DVD Locker.

We recycle 100% of the plastic wraps that may otherwise end up in the sea for 100s of years.
This is totally down to you, there is no commitment and you can cancel at any time. We have even added a Teaser Pack so if you just wanted to try us out for a month and see how we measured up before commiting to a regular monthly subscrption, the choice is yours - just how it should be.
We are sorry to hear you want to cancel, you must send your cancellation request via email to support@dvdlocker.co.uk and we will cancel your account however we may also be able to offer you a better suited package also.
